IWMI takes part in the inauguration of the fifteenth President of the Philippines, President-elect Benigno "NoyNoy" Aquino III (also called P'Noy). The said inauguration was held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila at 12 noon on June 30, 2010 where IWMI distributed 200 portalet units.

IWMI joins our community in assisting the victims of Tropical Storm Ondoy. As of October 7, 2009 IWMI has installed more than 100 portalets in various areas such as Marikina, Pasig, Taguig and Quezon City.
 

IWMI joins the 2009 International Coastal Clean Up

Another activity entailed another success for Mother Earth as Integrated Waste Management, Inc. participated in the International Coastal Clean Up on September 19, 2009 held at the shoreline near the Manila-Cavite Expressway locally known as Coastal Road.
 
This annual event where an estimation of 400,000 people around the globe simultaneously grab on their brooms and clean the beaches is an advocacy that helps preserve the ecosystem by encouraging people to clean the trash and debris that affects the waterways.
 

IWMI Portalets dominated series of concerts

Manila, Philippines – The portable toilets of Integrated Waste Management, Inc. (IWMI) popularly known as PORTALET, sustained a visible post in the series of successful concerts held at the Mall of Asia concert grounds within the last six months.

The most recent concert held at the said mall grounds was the Doll Domination by the Pussycat Dolls last Thursday, June 11, 2009 wherein IWMI provided 58 units of Portalets to the thousands of fans of the all-girl group.

IWMI a relief to the cyclists of Padyak Pinoy 2009

IWMI, the provider of the portable sanitation system called portalet once again gave the cyclists of the Padyak Pinoy 2009 the relief that they needed whenever and wherever they needed it. The portalets were so visible during the eight-day, eight stage road race of Padyak Pinoy on May 8-15. IWMI's Portalets had once again gave its outstanding support to the Filipino athletes and the organizers (DOS-1) of the race. Indeed, IWMI became a part of the success of the annual cycling race.

P5.3-B in dangerous drugs destroyed in Cavite waste facility

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) destroyed P5.3 billion worth of dangerous drugs on July 11,2008, Friday at the Integrated Waste Management Inc.’s Cavite waste facility. PDEA said that it was the biggest batch of dangerous drugs burned in the facility.
